Vandalism on Dunster Drive

Somebody threw a large amount of urine, human or animal feces on our front porch/door. (12/26 in the afternoon)  Our Christmas decorations were torn down and destroyed.  Police were called out and a report was filed.  The smell was beyond your average smell...so we are thinking maybe Portable Toilet waste? The ones down our street? Or a larger animal?  It was all over our door and porch. The decorations were Mickey and Minnie and torn down with force.

Garbage/Recycle to picked up on Wednesday

Due to the icy road condition on Tuesday, Dec. 16, garbage and recycling collection will slide one day forward this week. Please put your items for collection out one day later than normal.

There are many gift items available including craft kits for kids, many books, scrapbooks and associated items, clothes, great stocking stuffers, puzzles, etc... Too much for me to remember! Anyway, they usually have a booth at McKinney Trade Days but wanted to do this out of their home in time for the holidays.  If you are looking for gifts for your children or family, this would be a great place to start.

Beware - Parking Citations in the Neighborhood!

I wanted to pass along a warning that the police are isssuing parking violations ($44) for parking the "wrong" way on the residential streets.  I thought it was legal to park opposit of traffic on residential streets, but apparently in McKinney it's not.  Our neighbor got a ticket a couple weeks ago (issued at 3:00 am) for the way he was parked in front of his home.  Who needs a $44 ticket these days?!
