Ms. Vasquez,
Thank you for your email. It will be referenced at tomorrow night’s Planning and Zoning meeting. Developers are allowed to submit requests for developments or zoning changes at any time. It is up to the Staff to ensure that regulations are followed or in the case of a zoning change request, determine if it is suitable with regards to use, location, size, etc. In this instance, Staff will recommend denial of the proposed zoning change due to its incompatibility with the surrounding uses and the goals of the City’s Long-range Plan.
Let me know if I can provide you with any additional information.
