HOA Bylaws Amendment - Fines for Violations

You should have received a letter from Lone Star Management with an amendment to our HOA bylaws.  It primary deals with fines and hearings for violations.  Click here for a copy of it.

The document states that "reasonable monetary fines" may be imposed.  When asked what that meant, Susan Garrett (new property manager for Lone Star) stated that "the violations amounts have not been set but for the time being will start with $25.00 for the first violation, then double each time thereafter."

An RV & Mobile Home Park Just 2 Miles Away???

Please take a few minutes to review the proposed zoning change located just a couple of miles from our neighborhood.  Please contact the City of McKinney Planning and Zoning Commission to voice your opinion.   You can attend the Planning and Zoning meeting on TONIGHT (Tuesday, January 27, 2009) at 6:30 pm, in the Council Chamber of City Hall located at 222 N. Tennessee Street.

A representative from the City of McKinney suggested we also email our concerns to nbarnett@mckinneytexas.org He encourages emails as an effective form of communication for those that cannot attend the meeting tomorrow night.

The window of our car was smashed this morning at 3:45 in my drive way.  A Sony GPS was stolen.
